Example output from Mviz
The images shown below are examples of output from Mviz,
using a variety of soil sample data sets.
This example shows profiles for 4 elements, 2 plotted each side of the line
of points. High values in each channel have been clipped to the 95th
percentile, and labelled on each profile. At either end of each line, axes
show the maximum values for each channel

In this example, windmill blades have been plotted for 3 channels (Cu, Pb,
Zn). The channels have been scaled so each channel median value plots at
the same size. The custom legend for this plot is not shown, but is
similar to that for line profiles shown above.

We have quickly symbolized copper, arsenic and lithology values for a set of
sample points. Copper and arsenic modulate the colour and size of each
symbol, whilst the symbol shape is controlled by the lithology.

With this RGB classification, we have set 95% thresholds for copper, lead and
zinc. Values above these thresholds are classified and coloured according
to which of the 3 channels are over the threshold.

This box plot of Copper values has been created with 2 grouping levels -
Batch and Landform. For each box plot, outliers are shown as discrete
dots, with whiskers extending from the quartiles to the outliers. The
grouping provides an intuitive way to see how the copper distribution varies
both with sampling methodology and landform.
